So I’m starting to get into a good rhythm with my new contracting job at Beta technologies\ufffc. my role there is to lead a team on creating science demos for middle schoolers to billionaires\u2026 Basically to explain the science behind our airplane in terms that the general public can understand and enjoy. It’s really a dream job for me\u2026 I’m just a contractor there\u2026 But the culture is so wonderful. Everything moves so fast!<\/p>\n

First part of this project is to go around and figure out where the story\ufffc Around this wonderful electric vertical takeoff airplane needs to be augmented. First stop is the batteries\u2026 For logistical reasons it’s a little hard to talk about how the batteries are put together. we spent the morning talking about how to illustrate how the batteries go in the plane and how they’re built up into packs.\u2026 As we think through these demos I’m learning so much about them. I can’t really go into the details in this blog I’ll just say that this thing has a whole lot of batteries in it time. Our team is going to make it cut away that shows how the batteries are put together. Should be fun\ufffc.<\/p>\n
