we had a really nice yeah yesterday\u2026 Very slow start\u2026 I took a longest run\u2026 Then went over to gabe’s. Gab\u00c9 and Sam showed up around noon\u2026 (\u2026 I know it must be strange to see “Gabe and Sam”\u2026)\u2026 Sam is his really nice girlfriend.<\/p>\n

Anyway\u2026 They showed up around mid day and we went out to brunch.\u2026 That’s a real Portland sunday.<\/p>\n

Later that day\u2026 when brunch wore off\u2026\ufffc People started showing up at the house for our locket party\u2026<\/p>\n

Diane Mayday gift to gab of his grandpa gabes folding ruler\u2026 It was a treasured toy when she was a kid\u2026 And grandpa\ufffcGabe always\ufffc Told him to be careful with it. It was cool seeing Gabe get that gift\u2026 While wearing his other grandfather sweater to\u2026 Two grandfather moment grandfather moment\ufffc<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

That seems like a good time to decorate the tree that we picked up the day before.\u2026 It was Sean, Mel, Emma, I’ll be on\u2026 I think that’s it. We had a lot of fun decorating the inside and outside\ufffctrees\ufffc.<\/p>\n

That Included placing angel on the tree that had been at Diane’s family since before she was born so let’s say 62 years old?\ufffc\ufffc<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Meanwhile\u2026 Diane was grinding cutting and chopping boiling to make us the most delicious latke dinner\ufffc.. It was the first night of Hanukkah\u2026 And we were doing our family Blend\u2026 It felt good\ufffc<\/p>\n

Gabe did the blessing over the candles\ufffc<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He also tried the chocolate chip cookie\u2026 A new tradition perhaps?\ufffc<\/p>\n
