I I am back in Vermont and \ufffchave several\ufffc Blog post still to do about my last few days in Portland\u2026 But I didn’t want to miss this important one. Today is my dad, Hugh Cohn’s, yahrzeit.\u2026 That’s the day you bark I loved one’s death day and my tradition.\u2026 I woke up thinking about my dad\u2026 What a great and fun and wonderful human person. I miss him every day\u2026 There are many days I still talk to him.<\/p>\n

he was such a great role model and how to treat people pathetic he was balanced, and kind\u2026 Two things that I aspire to learn from him.<\/p>\n

I woke today and printed a picture of him . It was a very proud moment for him\u2026 The day he got his masters degree in public health. I was so proud of him\u2026 More importantly he was so proud of himself.\ufffc He genuinely loved helping other people\u2026 That’s why he chose public health. I\ufffcimprovised a yahrzeit candle\u2026 I know many traditions have the same custom of lighting a candle on the day of someone’s death.\u2026 It was nice doing the small ritual with him And for him.<\/p>\n

Papa\u2026 I love you ! You are so much a part of me and the rest of your family\ufffc<\/p>\n
