Today felt busy.\u00a0 I did needed things today and got the hose ready for the pool.\u00a0 I went to walk with Jill and Dublin this morning.\u00a0 This was Dublin’s first dog walk\u00a0 with other dogs since his accident.\u00a0 He is doing great and had so much fun with Chai and Satori.\u00a0 I got home and was able to get water flowing into the pool.\u00a0 Hopefully between tonight and tomorrow I can get the pool back up to being half full.\u00a0 I trust the pool will not blow over now.<\/p>\n
Gabe had an orthodontists appointment today to get his lacrosse mouth guard.\u00a0 He will return to get testing to see if he needs braces.\u00a0 His teeth have moved quite a bit however maybe they need a little help.\u00a0 It will be his decision.\u00a0 Kristin is getting braces on my birthday…what an April Fool’s Day trick!<\/p>\n
I had teen yoga tonight.\u00a0 It was fun.\u00a0 I played celtic music.\u00a0 They are strong kids.<\/p>\n
Not much excitemment around here for St. Patty’s Day.\u00a0 Gabe was all decked out in green.\u00a0 I found one shirt that had a patch of green on it.\u00a0 Most kids I asked today were not doing anything green.\u00a0 No one really knew what corned beef and cabbage was…maybe that is good.\u00a0 We had baked beans and perogies tonight that had potato filling.\u00a0 That’s the closest I got.\u00a0 I was thinking of having a Guiness but it seems too big to drink.\u00a0 Maybe I will change my mind.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
It is funny-odd being in this homogenous culture in Vermont.\u00a0 There are no real Greek…Italian…or Irish areas.\u00a0 Living in Endicott and Pittsburgh we had such strong ethnics.\u00a0 I had trouble pronouncing many of my friends last names.\u00a0 I still like reading the paper at home to see those last names…many ending in “ski”.\u00a0 Pittsburgh was the same way.\u00a0 St. Patrick’s Day was a real celebration.\u00a0 Here in Vermont we have the lake people…the mountain dwellers…the hikers…the bikers.\u00a0 It is interesting these differences.\u00a0 Not good or bad…just different.<\/p>\n
Max called today.\u00a0 He is in Delaware with friends for a few days for his school break.\u00a0 They did go to a beach and he hopped in the ocean and thought of you.\u00a0 Something he had to do.\u00a0 They are being spoiled by friends’ parents and having fun.\u00a0 They are off to see Watchman.\u00a0 He is trying to finish reading it first.<\/p>\n
Oh…Gabe and I stopped in and saw Dan at the “Long Trail Community Market” today.\u00a0 He let us wander around and see the place.\u00a0 Wow…it is so big inside.\u00a0 He was giving details to Bill H.\u00a0 He has much to do to change the atmosphere and I know he will do it.\u00a0 Gabe & I did peak in the back freezer and saw the meat hooks.\u00a0 It looked like a spooky movie scene.\u00a0 I took some pictures however Gabe is using the upstairs computer so the picts will have ot wait for another day.<\/p>\n
