{"id":887,"date":"2010-05-19T02:30:00","date_gmt":"2010-05-19T06:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2010\/05\/19\/tuesday-night-family-ties\/"},"modified":"2010-05-19T02:30:00","modified_gmt":"2010-05-19T06:30:00","slug":"tuesday-night-family-ties","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/johncohn.org\/base\/2010\/05\/19\/tuesday-night-family-ties\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday night &#8211; family ties"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"pBlogBody_534574058\" class=\"blogContent\">\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t    A few weeks ago in New Orleans\u00a0 I managed to find the grave sites of my uncle, my grand parents , my great aunt and uncle and my great grandparents ..\u00a0\u00a0 It was a funny feelign seeing tose stones with my last name..\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 but somehow it felt good and connected me to my past&#8230;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 This\u00a0 evening , Diane&#8217;s brother Steve turned us on to a grave site registry called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msplinks.com\/MDFodHRwOi8vZmluZGFncmF2ZS5jb20=\">http:\/\/findagrave.com<\/a> . Steve has been using it to research both sides of his (and Diane&#8217;s ) families.. He&#8217;s also inputting data on his family as he goes. It&#8217;s a little sad looking through these pages, , but it&#8217;s cool , too\u00a0 .. For example.. Here&#8217;s Diane&#8217;s grandfather <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msplinks.com\/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmZpbmRhZ3JhdmUuY29tL2NnaS1iaW4vZmcuY2dpP3BhZ2U9Z3ImR1Nsbj1tYXJpYW5vJkdTZm49YyZHU3BhcnRpYWw9MSZHU2J5cmVsPWluJkdTZHlyZWw9aW4mR1NvYj1uJkdSaWQ9NDQ0NzQyODAm\">Constantino<\/a>.. he came over from Italy and worked as a brick layer<\/p>\n<p><a><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"325\" src=\"http:\/\/c2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com\/images02\/132\/l_776141e5b3b0444cabc1e70bfd381a41.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Constantino &#8216;s first wife <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msplinks.com\/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmZpbmRhZ3JhdmUuY29tL2NnaS1iaW4vZmcuY2dpP3BhZ2U9Z3ImR1JpZD0yNzI3NDc1Mg==\">Theresa<\/a> had a son Stefano who died at one year <\/p>\n<p><a><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"325\" src=\"http:\/\/c1.ac-images.myspacecdn.com\/images02\/124\/l_1c8552a1e4bb41bdac8e87229159d7f8.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Theresa died in 1930 of pnuemonia. <\/p>\n<p><a><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"325\" src=\"http:\/\/c3.ac-images.myspacecdn.com\/images02\/124\/l_525c5107de914637b5f88857fb995b6e.jpg\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Constantino sent back a request to italy for a\u00a0 a new wife to help him <br \/>raise his kids.. He found the beautiful <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msplinks.com\/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmZpbmRhZ3JhdmUuY29tL2NnaS1iaW4vZmcuY2dpP3BhZ2U9Z3ImR1JpZD0yNzI3NDY4MA==\">Pierina Mariano<\/a> .
