Greetings from Montreal\u2026 Diane Gabe and I are up here with the Townsend's spending the night and having Thanksgiving dinner. It always amazes me that this huge city is only an hour and a half away.<\/p>\n

Tim drove while I sat in the back. Even stopped for a snack and I got cheese and wine not a bad way to start the day<\/p>\n

We got here mid afternoon but the Townsend kids were still in school\u2026 So gabe and I want to explore the city. Our goal was to get to the science Museum but it closed at four and we got there at 3:59. Oh well. We walked around old Montreal Not a bad alternative<\/p>\n

Even found a street named after gabe<\/div>\n

Around five headed back to the apartment. On the way I realized gabe and I could have our first legal beer together. So we stopped in to a bar did that. Surrounded by TV screens it was nice. <\/p>\n

Dinner at the Townsend was really nice. Hannah, Matt, and Ian had several friends over so was mostly folks in their 20s. Lots of great food. <\/p>\n

Now everybody's playing some sort of word Game in the living room. Believe it or not, I fell asleep. You were little quiet so I snuck off the blog.<\/p>\n

Talked to Max on FaceTime today. He's having his Thanksgiving down in his new apartment in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

It was very good connecting with him.<\/p>\n
