Today I got around to hooking up the awesome OnLogic K800. , the computer that makes Fluffy shine. This computer runs the LED pixel mapping code that translates video files into the signals needed to drive the `14,400 LEDS on Fluffy’s sides. I retrieved the computer when fluffy finally made it back to Vermont a few weeks back, but decided to get it running today in prep for Duane III’s visit. Duane III is making a short ‘making of’ video about \u00a0fluffy.. and I wanted to show him how the insides of the lighting worked.. \u00a0It is still covered with a fine fit. of Playa dust.. \u00a0 Brought back many memories.. some of them good !<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Software isn’t visible so folks dont necessarily relate to it as much as the more physical parts of the bus.. but it’s still an important piece.<\/p>\n

I’m looking forward to tuning this up for next year !<\/p>\n
