Very busy day.. Diane and I did a quick hike up 30 min on the Bamforth Ridge trail as I had a meeting to get to..\u00a0

I came back midday and picked diane up for a trip tot he make-a-wish office. Make-a-wish <\/a>organizes special wish-come-trues for sick kids and their family.. It might be a trip,. it might be meeting special people it might even be a swimming pool. the idea is to give these kids and their family a little releife from the hard work of being\u00a0 sick.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The make a wish director Jamie is a great guy. Hes reaching out to me\/us to help add some interactive experiences to the wish reveal parties they have for the kids and their families.. I wanted diane to see the layout of the space they use to make the reveals. It’s a `15 foot cylindrical silo.. they’ve already done\u00a0 great things with it.. they have really nice projection systems and lightning there . I’m going to help them build a way for the kids and family members to interact with the projected art..\u00a0 \u00a0Its always so helpful to do these projects with Diane.. she’s got such an organized way of looking at creative things.\u00a0 we’re working on ideas. .. \\<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That work will need to be in the queue I have.. since Fluffy is back in our lives. We’re workign to simplify and “robustify”\u00a0 \u00a0the clouds, lights and fire systems.\u00a0 \u00a0We headed down there for our first look at all of the 52 wooden , fabric and electronic clouds..\u00a0 It was pretty cool to see the parts now thet theyve been uit on the desert.. .. playa dust was everywhere !\u00a0<\/p>\n

We powered up each cloud and examined it for damage, labeling problems and damaged light strips. Of the 52..3 had some\u00a0 sort of damage that needed repair.. That is about 6 percent of them.. is that good ? is that bad ? Anyway…w e need to dig in to see hat happened so we can make them all more robust.\u00a0<\/p>\n
