As I was walking to the beach last night I came across there baby birds huddled together on the grass under a lilac tree in our yard. I could see the nest they must have been in . They were very young.. they had feathers.. but couldn’t fly.\u00a0 I assumed they’d fallen out of the tree.. I\u00a0 didn’t know what to do. Diane and I did a little research online and read that it was much more likely that the parents had kicked them out of the nest and would be looking after them.. sure enough\u00a0 this morning the baby birds were still there and mam and poppa bird were takign turns feeding them..\u00a0<\/p>\n

That evening I drove down to Norwich University to give a Jolts and Volts show.. It was for the Governors Institute of Vermont (GIV) Engineering camp.. I love giving these shows.. and this audience is one of my favorites. I thing they had about 60 kids.. super sweet and nerdy.. My friend Erika’s son Charley was in the gorup.. The kids were so gtreat !<\/p>\n
