Emotionally packed day… my dad is in the hospital… so he’s much on my mind…\u00a0\u00a0 sending you good thoughts Pa..we’ll see how that works out.<\/p>\n

Diane and I did manage to get out into the snow today with the dogs. .. it was about 18 inches think and fluffy.<\/p>\n

we hiked up\u00a0 to Libby’s lookout to survey our valley.<\/p>\n

It was a perfect bluebird day.. 12 degrees and breezy…. The prefect time for my annual birthday snow angel.. (done traditionally in my birthday suit).. Diane held the camera and laughed\u00a0 while i shed\u00a0 my clothes, made my angel.. and jumped back into my clothees as fast as i could.. There’s nothing cozy about 12 degree snow… but it was worth it. I felt so alive !.. it’s like jumping in the lake in feb. . only colder.<\/p>\n

fade forward to late afternoon. I’m working on a thing for work.. so I had to go in to pick up some printouts.. on the way home, i got a call from Gabe .. his car had sputtered out on the interstate and wouldn’t budge.\u00a0\u00a0 I called the tow truck.. but it was goign to be nearly an hour. Luckily State Trooper Barone showed up she called Rod at Blackfork who came in 10 minutes.. We got the car to Sears about 30 min later..<\/p>\n

I had to put the key in the envelope at sears .. but guess what.. no pencil or pen.. i searched the car.. no dice either.. In desperation, I wrote my name and phone number on a piece of paper in taco bell hot sauce with a chopstick… desperate times.. desperate measures..<\/p>\n

we got home in time for jens’ surprise-ish birthday party.. it was ‘hot pot’. stuff pboiled n soup.. so good !..<\/p>\n

OK.. I’m really exhausted.. and cant stay awake another second.. more tomorrow. with news of my dad..<\/p>\n
