Sunday night .. another airport…i’m sitting beneath a bank of payphones that have only been used once in the 3 hours I’ve been sitting here.. ( What will happen to all the places where payphones are currently ? What will happen to the phones themselves ? Could we make them into art ? (. I’m on my way to Russia for a talk and another chance to meet with the technical team from my company.. The thought of these trips always sounds good when I agree to them months before.. but seem crazy when it comes time to go.. That said.. the ability to meet with and possibly help my technical peers is so energizing.. for me (and I hope for them)..

You’ll be there on election day (the legislatives). Weird thing to have a fake election in a fake democracy. Let’s hope you’ll bring some scientific brightness in this otherwise sad land of no political opposition.
