We had a day full of family and friends. This morning we had a really nice brunch at my cousin in law Billy and Debra’s house. Our mutual cousins John and Jean were in town from Wisconsin to drop their son Evan off fer his first semester at Middlebury. We hadn’t seen John and Jean them in years.. It was really nice catching up .. I’t always nice seeing Billy and Debra. Billy and I are about to start on a new project at UVM which I’m looking forward to. More on that in coming weeks

 

 

 

 

John called his mother, my great aunt, ellen.. so we all could talk.. here’s ellen looking pretty good by phone ..

 

later in the afternoon we headed to the Round Church for Chris and Amanda’s wedding..   We were married there 27 years ago yesterday.. so  being in there was especially nice.

Chris ahas been our neighbor since before he was born. our kids grew up with him.. he was prettyclose to family over here..    He and amanda have been togheter for almost 12 years.. they make a really nice pair.

 

 

 

the wedding was short and sweet.. .. the new  bride and groom  walked out of the church to a live version of ‘B-b-b-Bad to the bone”.. pretty cool !

 

Anabdas dad has a really well known set of body shopsin the area.. and he has a cool collection of cars.. like this one !  

 

It was fun being there all together.

 

after folks filed out, we took advantage to grab a few quick pix of us back in the round church..

 

Then we all headed over to the Sheratan for the reception.

Chris’s big brother jeffery gave chris and amanda a hand airbrushed paintin tf the two of them.. it was amazing !!

Amanda and her dad danced a really cute routine that kept changing musical styles.. it was a hoot !

 

then came the bouquet toss

 

then looking for the garter.

 

then the garter toss… an itersting set of traditions.. !

 

they had a photobooth there that was really cool !

 

and we crammed in9 people to the both.. tie for the record !

 

The wedding was good fun.. It was great seeing Chris and Amanda so happy and also very  good catching up with Chris’s family..

After the reception, we went home and changed into comfy clothes and most of us heaed to chris  c’s for an evening of fire swords, fire boy and fire breathing.. all very cool !..

 

now i’m too tired to type more.. gotta sleep
