Last day in amagi… hard work day… Woke up this morning at 7 after a sound sleep.. Ran downstairs for a quick soak in the public hit ub.. here’s the view out the windows. You see the bay in the background
this has been a tough and interestign set of meetings.. many people made it work.. though o one worked harder than our fearless translators. Here they are behin thier little secret mirror. Thanks friends !
I really loved this client team.. they are smart and dedicated.. and very good to hang out with
we used some imaginary people to illustrate our technical discussions. I got to name one.. an 80 year old active woman in a western country.. I got to name her Judy after my mom.. so all day we were talking about ‘judy’ (love you ma !)
I also really enjoyed working with my ibm colleagues again.. here are two of my fave’s Tone-san and Nakai-san ,
by the end of the day, we were beat.. we all took the 2 hour ride on the shinkasen (200 mph !) back to tokyo
we droppd our bags and headed over to the bus station for the worlds best bus station sushi…
ok.. 11pm, time for my first meeting of the night. more tomorrow
