Diane gabe and I are just back from a very successful college looking trip. We saw three colleges… And they could not have been more different. Each other strengths and challenges. But between them Gabe is able to start triangulating what he's looking for and what he's not.
He's quite a scholar and is looking for something challenging. At the same time he wants to have fun. Each of the schools told a story about how they handled studies and how they handled fun. It was the latter that was so strange to hear.

Diane , gabe and i are in sherborn tonight at my folks … Were down here looking at colleges with gabe.. Its actually fun walking around these places trying to imagine him spending a few years a t one of these places… Its a strange thought …him going away to college.. A nice thought and kind of a lonely thought too..
Im proud of that boy and want to see him have fun….
Tonight was fun hanging out with my parents.. Gabe showed them pictures from his trip to spain…it was fun seeing the pictures and seeing my parents see them….
Yesterday was a tough day at work.. so tough that I found myself awake and starring at the ceiling. i did what anyone awake at that hour would do and went on facebook.. Seems I was not so alone..
comfort, company suggestions, even scripture !
