Another very late night working on our floorish For the BCA show on Thursday. It is been absolutely wonderful working with the team John Colin ken Katie Eric… And Max. Max has been kind enough to come up from New York to help us with this piece. He has been so helpful. I cannot tell you how nice it is to be working with my son on such a cool project. Everybody on this team is incredibly hard-working and competent. It's fun seeing. How much max has learned over the last few years about making stuff, about computers, about design and about installations. I've learned quite a bit from him working together just this last week
. I am feeling pretty worn out because I'm both busy at work and busy with this project. I was telling a work friend about it today and he said very wisely… That years later I will forget why I was tired and what I was working on at work but I will never forget working with Max late into the night on This project.
Speaking of Max… I have to go meet him right now so more tomorrow
Night all, night Sam
– Me
Its < insert Very late hour>.. Im up late working on <insert name of random project> with <insert name of wonderful friend and or family member> . Ive only had <insert number less than 4> hours sleep in the last <insert number of days>
Two years ago our very good friend Dylan Peters was gravely injured in a car accident near his home. His strong organs went on to save several other folks lives..
. Dylan had been a good friend of Sam and Gabe’s. Dylan was a smart, funny and very able guy. We all looked up to him. I was there with Gabe, Dylan, Dylan’s mom Sue and our friend Matt to see him win first place in the USASA freestyle snowboarding championship in Copper Mountain Co… That’s when I took this picture.. What a cool kid
You and your family on all our minds today. Dylan.. can’t believe its been two year man.. I can’t eat wasabi without thinking of you….
Another 2 AM night at the Miller Center. Furiously feverishly foolishly flailingly finally fixing to be Faultingly finishing our floors exhibition . to say we're finishing is a great exaggeration but things are actually blinking. It's going to be a long weekend… But I love this kind of work. Not much else to report .
driving home now Max is in town which is great he'll be a huge help. More tomorrow
