Diane and i just got back home froma. 'Quick' trip to state college, Pa to do some outreach with our freinds bruce, marybeth and brad, and to see our friends kate, shannon and steve. I el goo abou the meeins i had at psu
I say the trip was 'quick' because Diane drove three quarters of both ways. On the 10 hour trip . That allowed me to work both ways in the car because I have wireless. I noted just before we got home that each way was about the same amount of time it took to fly to Japan and back which is something I've done quite a few times the last few years. The nice thing was that I had my best buddy Diane in the pilot seat.
Another bonus was that we were able to stop in and see Diane's mother for about an hour on the way back. It was great seeing her that she seems to be doing well.
I took a minute to go down to the basement where we that always worked with my father-in-law gabe's tools. I wanted to get something from there to as a keepsake but I didn't want to take any of the tools either of my sons would miss. I settled on a jar of thread cutting oil. It's the kind of thing you use a couple of times year so it will last forever. It's also the kind of thing no one would miss. I was happy to have it
After lunch we took the now short feeling 6 Hour Drive home. And I never missed a meeting.
Like I said… To Japan and back.
Nite all, nite sam
