Greetings from Rockville Maryland. I'm down here working with a team of five other people on a project for smart America.as part of the presidential fellows program. The idea is to show real applications of Internet of things systems. . In 20 days we have to do a demonstration at the White House of our Internet of things project. So we are working hard to make sure it works well..Our project is a true open collaboration between industry, public-sector, universities and start ups. It's all about the exchange open data in motion.

We all got here midmorning and I've been working until about midnight in a conference room in the Montgomery county executive office building which we've taken over.. Its a flurry of JavaScript, Python, raspberry pi s , Arduinos, sub GHz radios, thai food, beer, personal histories, bad jokes, electronic music, political rants, swearing… A wonderful mess… I am in my element!

Got to get sleep… You got two more days of work.
