Hello from LGA.. I’m zombie tired.. less than 7 hours of sleep in the last two days. some of that is for work some is for fun. I had a great visit with Max and his fire friends last night in Bklyn.. I love being able to see him
nteresting day today.. many decisions ahead,, should be exciting
I spent part of today wandering around the city wearing my dad’s blue coat.. it’s one of those long wool things that you see pre-hipster business men wearing in cold weather. It’s so cozy and grown u.. I feel like i’m disguised as a real business guy as I walk around wearing my very new york grown-up blue coat.
Greetings from the north bound DC to NYC Acela 7pm express. I rarely get to take trains in the US so this is pretty exciting..
Supposedly this train can go 150 mph.. Not fast by world standards.. But pretty fast for a us train. That makes in a mere 2.5 hours from Union Station in DC to Penn Station…
But im thinking its gonna seem like longer. Im sharing the seat with two girls who are looking at cute puppy pictures on the internet and giggling… This may be a longgggggg trip 🙂
At yoga tonight someone said what a beutiful day it had been outside. I realize that i was inside and on on the phone all day. I only saw two other people (diane and the really nice guy who came to fix our boiler) .. I didnt go outside until i had to walk to the boiler space.. And i think i only went downstairs twice…
I think the last time i wore shoes was on sonday…
Is that a good thing or a bad thing ?.. Or just a thing….im becoming a hermet !
Happy MLK Jr. Day.. or at least a thoughtful one. I’m still surprised that my company doesn’t celebrate this holiday. From what I can recall, it’s the only nationally celebrated holiday that has been created in my lifetime.. and it’s a good cause.
We’ve come so far and still have so far to go..
On a completely unrelated topic.. I was gratified to note yesterday three more sets of stats confirming what I already know to be true.. that we live in an awesome place. The first article I saw was in the Huffington post.. audit’s buy a team which includes my friends Peter D and Chris D at the University of Vermont. Their analysis of twitter traffic shows that Vermont is the ‘happiest state’
The next article  i saw said we were one of the healthiest (at least mentally)
And finally .. my favorite article  says we’re the smartest.. I suspect this one .. like the others haas something to do with being the second least populous ! (otherwise.. why wyoming ? )
