Friday night… Winding down. About to start two weeks of vacation… Maybe I should call it a retreat. I've been running pretty hard these last couple of months and I need some down time to think. This coming week is a tough one for us. Next Friday we will mark the ninth anniversary of Sam's passing. This time year always weighs heavy on my heart. I countdown the days remembering things leading up to that day.

It's one of those things that is hard to approach but we always get through. This year I'm feeling pretty solid.i'm putting myself on “gentle cycle” for a bit in the intent to keep it that way.

I had a really pleasant day and evening… But my heart is heavy hearing the news tonight from Paris.

I'm sending wishes for peace up the world
