Greetings from Munich.. Cool and great here just like home  (Hey.. just like me.. Cool and Grey !)

Spent a good part of the morning trying to find my hotel.. which gave me ample views of this post industrial town .

 

I spent the bulk of the day working in my room..  around *pm I realized that I hadn’t eaten all day.. or seen another human.. o

 

so I wandered down to the restaurant and broke one of my cardinal rules of travel.. I never eat by myself if I can help it.. but I was starving.. Reminds me of one of my favorite billy collins poems  (blogged about that here http://johncohn.org/base/2013/11/12/tuesday-night-eating-alone/)

 

 

Hard to be sad and lonely with a plate full of cheese coated spaetzle !!!!

 

Now trying to figure out my post modern thermostat.. everything here is so modern and sleek.. just.. can’t figure out how to turn this off of ‘roast’
