Sunday night – Raw mac & cheese

Got into SFO about an hour and a half ago… Just got to the hotel. I was starving. They had a little store at check-in. The one substantive food item they had were little self cook macaroni and cheese cups. They had quite a few of them. I bought one looking forward to the fluorescent google that I was used to. I got to my room only to find that they had no microwaves. Not in the rooms, not on the floor, no where in fact. I called and the guy offered to see if there was someone in the kitchen you could cook it for me. He didn't seem to think it was strange that they were selling them. It's after midnight West Coast time and I only got four hours asleep last night so I decided not to worry about it. I'm trying to see if I can cook it with warm tapwater. Hey it might be crunchy but at least it's food.

I'll let you know how it tastes

Saturday night – it was clean when I started

I'm in the last few Howard's of the field for a demo I'm doing at a conference this week… It's coming down to the wire. Thank goodness for Diane and her organization. She was with me working on this most of the day. I promise it was clean when I started. In fact it was cleaned in the middle of the day when I stopped to shovel out the mess. Now I can hardly walk through. But it looks like everything is working. Hey it's 3 AM… Perfect time to go to sleep.

friday night – officeless

I am officially a man without an office. I gave up my new office in exchange for being designated a ‘mobile employee’

which means my cell phone gets payed for..that alone is like a big raise 🙂

I wasn’t really using my office as I’ve been working at home for the last couple of years. Giving up my office allows someone else to get the office with the view of the little courtyard. I liked it.. but won’t miss it. The one thing I will miss is my one tone granite desk.. it used to be a piece of semiconductor equipment.. but its just too heavy to bring home. I hope it finds a nice new owner..

i didn’t feel  much nostalgia when I walked out of there.e.. just this picture game drew me on the white board..

maybe I should sneak in there at night at saw it off the wall ?

nite all. nite sam
