I’m sitting in JFK waiting on my flight back to BVermont.. I just finished an important work meeting that was about 6 weeks in the making. At the last minute some of our execs got called away, so it was quite a different meeting than we’d peeped for.. but that aside.. The meeting went well.. very well intact.. or demos work, the conversation was good and the client execs were really interesting and engaging..
I’m left with hat strange feeling I always have.. I’m technically energized by what I learned.. happy with the outcome, relieved that the 4 weeks of stressing about this is over.. At the same time I can’t help wondering about how I might prep for things like this without stressing my , family, health, friends, hobbies, coworkers.. etc.. next time.
Today our big girl, Chai turns 12 years old.. amazing.. I remember the day we picked her up.. She’s still such a cute girl.. I’ve never met a calmer, more loving creature .. human or animal … in all my life. we love her very much.. looking good, girl !
Diane made her a great birthday ‘cake’ with cheese candles. She made one for Satorio too

In addition to the doggie festivities.. we had a visitor today We we up to find a duck in our yrd.. she stuck around all day. she seems to be domesticated.. she drank water out of a bowl and ate some bread.. she dosent mind us standing right next to her..
