Where am I?… It's 3 AM and I just woke up confused… I fell asleep on the couch at my moms. My brother and his family and my sister and her family are all here the start of our vacation. Rest of my family are heading here tomorrow.

Before we came down I was helping Gabe and Dianne at the barn. We have the use of the lift today which they used to get the tile ends of the barn. I got one whole side completely done. Lift makes it so much easier

Right… Going to try to go back to sleep. It's almost 4 AM… Wish me luck.

I got some very much needed down time today. Sep till 8 and managed to catch up on many things.. including the need to be out in the woods with Diane …

By evening I was feeling pretty human again.. We ended up having an all MOE evening . First dinner at Moe’s

Then we met friends down at the Waterside to hear the great Jam band MOE !. It was a great show.. and a beautiful night !

Almost home after another week on the road.. It was fun and productive.. but I’m so ready to be home with  my family. Had a very interesting day today.. including the opportunity to watch our CEO Ginni R give an amazing intervieww on my favorite topic, The Internet of Things.. It made me proud and excited to be working on it !!!!

The other cosmos thing that happened today was a bit more exotic.. for the second time in 2 days someone said the phrase “hot glue is your friend”  to me.. Now.. how strange is that,, ?!? those exact words, in two different contexts… from two people who live half way across the world … who .. \ know one another /// but haven’t seen one other in many years.. . and even stranger, happen to be at the same festival in Berlin today..

The first hot gluer  , my freind Millosc M  told me that hot glue was my friend in the context of a very cool persistence of vision build  he created called the blinkenstick

the second was my new freind..and long time hear Mitch A… the creator of TV-B-Gone .  who was helping me figure out how to save my IR LEDS.. ..

I wish i had my TVBGONE now.. I’m being forced to listen to endless recaps of last nights Republican debate.. Oy Veh !!

Hello from gate 17 at heathrow. Friend dave just dropped me off after a longggggg drive from cambridge. Two traffic incidents had traffic way backed up so it toom us 2.5 hours for the normally 1.5 hour drive.

I got here an hour ahead anyway.. But did not know that virgin closes their flights at one hour. A bit of pleading and a nice smile got them to lift the gat. Now waiting to board.

Phew.

Great and productive trip.. More thoughts on that tomoorw.
