Wednesday night – hot water

Just spoke with Diane and we have rusty water that is not very hot and it's quite hard at home… It's any consolation we have rusty water that is not very hot and very hard here in the dorm rooms in Cambridge. I just came back from a company event that was held in a very hot discotheque. It was both fun and really gross. I think I have toSpace throw away the shirt I was wearing I was so drenched with sweat.

Is a great way to blow off steam after some complicated and fun meetings today. I did have a lot of fun with my weight up bling at the bar.

I love where I'm staying even though it's not the most comfortable… They had an organ donation sign up in the breakfast line… How cool is that?

OK it's 2 AM meetings in a few hours… More tomorrow…

Monday night – punting

Got to the UK around 11 this morning.. Friend dave picked me up which gave us a good long time to work… Got to Cambridge late afternoon

I’m staying at CHrists College on the Cambridge campus.. spartan.. but nice enough.. beautiful grounds

.. worked for a bit.. slept..

then we went out to explore a bit before tomorrows meetings. The must do while hereis punting on the river. it’s basically a shallow boat that you push with a pole. not hard to learn, not fast, not elegant.. but fun

Then we took a tour of the Cambridge Makerspace with Friend Milosch

then dave, milosch and I had a nice dinner and talked work and IoT.. really good and educational

Here’s milosch with the  wonderful light up satchel he designed.

It seems thats all the pictures I can transfer due to a network problem.. but you get the idea.. More from here tomorrow !

Sunday evening – barn raising

On my way to the UK after a really nice weekend. Today we spent working on the barn. I sy ‘we’.. which means I watched Good freind Tim and Gabe repair a bunch of rot near the barn door. It had been caused by lots of snow and rain  that had splashed up there.. we’re now installing gutters to manage that . It’s all part of a big painting project that gave is leading.. I’m proud of how he’s taking this on..  We’re also so appreciative of Tim’s expert help.. we learned a ton from watching him work !  He brought Priscilla and dog Stella too.. which was an extra bonus !

It’s gonna look good as new !
