Super busy day.. getting ready for a big conference next week. I did have to take some time off because… gulp.. my drivers license had expired on my birthday last week. I have a fancy enhanced license that lets me cross into Canada without a passport. Replacing it means going in person and taking lots of proof of ‘me-ness’..

I was lucky, though. it wasn’t busy.. i was able to get in and out in only 30 min (and ran into my buddy RJ in the process). One thing that affected me deeply was all the signing in there supporting the organ donation check box. The signs were everywhere..

made me happy and sad thinking about Sam.

I gave the nice lady who processed my forms a Sam stone.. and atold her about Sam and how his organs helped save four people. She said she’d keep  it on her desk.. .. might get a few more folks to sign up..   you never know.
