On United UA30 about to take off for Munich.. it’s my Sunday night commute.. and is strangly commforting. I’m in 22F .. couldn’t upgrade myself this time.. but .. I have a free seet next to me and extra legroom because its an exit row.. life is pretty good.

I’ve got a busy week ahead.. and lookign forward to it…

Super full.. yet peaceful day.. lots of work around the house to prpare for the change of season.. winterized the pool, set up the rat ‘deterants’,clened the house and lab (a bit). also worked on a project for my blind runner friend simon to hekp him run… more on that later

 

midday our freind sherry .. dianes roomate from 1982..and her daugheter laurencame over.. at the same time gabe and a bunch of his roomates showed up. We hiked up Bolton and helped with an annual cleanup of themountian picking up trash

later on wewentto our friendsJenn and Ken’s garen party in their wonderful house and gardens.. it was really spectacular. such an eclectic collection of stuff.. andreally nicely curated !

thereare so many compnents fitted into their yard.. it’s an amazing journey !

from there we headed to arts riot to meet up with sheerry ,lauren and ellen to see Sessions Americana.. one of my favorte bands

jefferson hammer’s ” this ragged world we spanned”.. seriously one of my favorite americana ballads

I loved the concert.. love arts riot. they even have a wizard !

Long hard week.. was very glad when 6 PM came around. Grabbed a beer and actually relaxed The air smelled like fall and the sun had that pretty slant. .. lighting up my favoite picture of me and the kids.

 

diane made these great chickpea patties.. which filled us up enough that we needed a walk. The gogs were game. We walked up to the lower gorge.. the water was cool and dark and I couldn’t resist goign in (i’ll spare you those pics 🙂 ..

 

it was nice sitting there watching the sun sink.

we live in a beutiful place..

Diane just got back from Endicott…. and I’m so glad to see her.. so are the dogs.  Not only is it nice to have her home.. but  she brought back my favorite thing from Central NY.. ROma’s Pizza.. It’s goopy, cold. The sauceis straignt out of a can.. and the cheese is good old shredded american. More than anything .. it’s  incredibly delicious. So delicious that you cant stop eating it !

Someone ..   stop me .. please !!!!!
