On my way back hoem from a very nice 24 hours in beutiful Arkansas.. it REALLY is buetiful. It’s kind of like Vermont.. but with more yummy fried food !

I got off the plane there yesterday and was greeted by a picture of myself in the airport.. .. kinda strange.. i was the keynote at a large conf here.. which was really, really fun.  One of my clients is a major spondor of the event.. so I was happy to oblige.

 

las night there was a meet and greet for the conference at a place called the Amazeum.. the curator is an alum ni of theexploratorium. and you could tell. it was SUCH an amazing place for kids and adults.. 

 

there were make beleive places for kids to play on

 

and lots of hands on inventing of every sort..

 

even a 100 watt laser t!!!

 

it wasnt all tech.. there were cool crafts there to do as well.. like felting

 

here’s Sam the currator .. he’s the exploratorium guy.. great vision !  and a really nice guy

 

they had many very well built, very simple .. physics demos that were easy to use , easy to explain and simply amazing

we then had a really good team dinner at a resturant called ‘The Hive’ in a modern art restruant. They brought us our very own penguin !

 

i even ate cooked carrots !

now headign home.. Ohare is more crowded than normal tonight..
