TOday would have been our neighbor Pat’s 88th birthday. He died on Nov 2th surrounded by family. Today we gall got togethet to share stories and tak abotu him. He was an amazing man.. a fixture in our town for 70 years,.. a freind.. a neighbor.. a really loving family man.. and a very funny observer of life. We all got together starting at 10 in the town library and hungout there until about 10 Pm.. there are so many old freinds and neighbors there .
there was a great collection of people..and of food.

family got there early to help in the set up We were honored to get tshirts.. they said Bernies Faireweel Tour.. it”s funny.. his family called him Bernie.. the town claled him Pat.. we called him Pat mostly.
pat and janet were liek a secondset of parentsfor our kids when growing up.. they had TV our kids were always in their house
i remember Pats Dad… he used to walk to the post office every day..

pat realy missed janet after he died. He was always doignnce little things in her memory.. likebrining this picture on a ‘date’. fixing her wishing well,lighting the xmas tree in the back yard..

ran into lots of folks I hadnt seen in a good long while like Jeff Nagel.. oen of the guys who used ot live in our house. He helpedbuild the ‘ghost room’ .
after the party.. several of us met over at barbs to keep things going. It was great hanging out with her kids…
it was a good day..memory of pat.. a life lived well and long
