Tuesday night – Dallas

Sitting here waiting for a hotel shuttle at Dallas. Managed to walk to the wrong hotel. Really good day today. Meetings with lots of good friends and colleagues. I always love going to Armonk because I see so many friends.

Last night was fun too ! I had a great conversation with my friend George about a possible burning man build that would be a spark chamber that will show cosmic rays they go through your body. Should be pretty cool

After that I was able to meet up with Max and Becky at house of yes. We then went out for a really nice quick dinner.

Ok got time for 5 hours sleep .. so gnite

Monday night – at port

Parked on a random street in Brooklyn..  talkingto my freindGeorge about spark chambers. Long set of circumstances brought me here.. My plan was to fly from burlignton to white plains for a meeting early tomorrow morning. .. My flight was delayed out of burlington so I missed my connction out of philly. THat left me with a choice.. wait ’till 9:30 for a flight.. or dirve. I opted to rent a car… i was hell bent on getting up to chapaqua for a dinner with friends … half way up my freind texted me to let me know of a change of plans.. ..his timing was perfect though. He caught me 12 min south of the George WashingtonBridge. I pulled over and called max to see if he was up for a late dinner. He is goign to be free at 9:30.. .. so i headed into Brooklyn…  As i drove in.. i recognized the street where Max used to live on the boat.. .. I had to go take a look for the sake of nostalagia

good to see her again

..time to go see max !

Sunday night – moving generator

I had aa free day today which felt so good. I decided to use part of it to help with our Gnerator makerspaces move to it new location. Over the last two days teams of volunteers had done lots of work to dismantel our space in the basement of Memorial Auditorium. . Today we worked to get the last easily moved things out of there.. Tomorrow a real equipment mover coems to move the really heavy equipment ..

i didthe honors of unhooking soem stuff from our 20 foot ceilings.

iused that as a chance to put a samstone where no one will see it until the building comes down.. on one of the ceiling beams 20 feet in the air.

we loaded the last two trucks.. and then headed to the new digs at searls lane.. the new space is really great !

were offlienuntil Jan2.. it’s gpgnto be a really cool new place.. .. I know the move wnt be easy on our members.. but Im really excited by the new space !

thanks to tall the member volunteers for helping wiht the move !
