Greetings from National Airport in DC> we just got taken off our plane due to a maintanince issue (grrr).. so I’m not getting home as fast as i’d hoped.
I really like my job.. but this commute is a bear.. When folks ask me these days where I live i tell them ‘somewhere south of iceland..’
why.. because I live in Vermont, Work in Germany.. so i figure I average somewhere soth of Iceland.
I woke from a nap on the plane this afternoon to find myself.. guess where.. somewhere south of iceland..
One of the wierd things about workign so much in europe these days is that I end up working about an extra half day every day. .. .. today was 17 hours long.. its just a trick of the timezones..
I know it sounds funny… but I’m lookign forward to stting on anirplane all day tomorrow and being hard to reach
i’ve been workingsolid all day. tryingto be intwo places at once and kinda beinginneither. I wasfinally getting down to the end of my todo list aroudn 1 am and realizedthat i neededto makeashort video for my friends in IBM Guadalajara for their ‘Wild the Future’ (WTF.. seriously 😕 ) hackathon tomorrow I dont have enough cell service in the hotel room to operate my glasses (long story).. so I had to make this movie standing out on the street at 1 AM.. its prettygoofy,but the glasses gave a good effect..
