We left Endicott early this morning .. we were on a mission. We had to get back here bu 2pm to meet Brian.. He was bringing our……. our….. our….. pool table !

yes.. I finally gave in to the rest of the family’s desire to have a pool table.. with just diane and I here most of the time.. we have the space.. and diane and gabe love playing pool !.

 

Brian showed up with his helper Tyler.. just as we were  driving up .. .. Challenge one was our uneven house.. One corner was actually one and a half  inches  below the other !

 

after some major leveling, on came the slate.. 

 

that too had to be careully balanced .. 

 

then the gaps between were filled with putty and smoother over with beeswax.. 

 

then came the felt..

 

fianlly the rails..

 

here it is all put together… .. a strange and fun new arrival..  we waited for gabe to come back for diane to take the first shot..

I’ve tied a few shots … but it’s going to take a while.. I’m a klutz when it comes  to this sort of  eye hand coordination ..  I’ll keep trying..

Spent my first full day of vacation in my ‘jammies … sweats actually.  There’s a ton of snow here.. .. we seont the hole day inside just hanging out and talking. it was so nice..

Max got in about 5:30 .. we sat down for dinner which included the traditional phill’s chicken, roma’s pizza, mac and cheese form home and sushi.. the perfect family meal. 

as part of our family gift exchange, joe gave each of our  boys one of Uncle Armonds bowling shirts.. Check these out !.. they are so classic !

(wow.. my lens needs cleaning !)

a little later we headed over to linda and davids… we’re a sleepy bunch

I’m off !> As of now I’m on vacation until Jan 3rd.. .. I’m going to try really hard to really. take it off. There are a zillion things going on now.. but I need a break… a real break. I need to recharge mentally  physically and psychically .. If you are a work friend.. and you catch me online or on a phone call..in the next two weeks..  please yell at me..

ps hey.. good thing I typed that.. it made me realize that somehow the spell checker on my bog editor had gotten switched off.. That means you’ve been reading my native spelling for awhile.. I apologize for that. even my mom noticed !

I’mso sad.. I cant seem to find my dad’s overcoat. I wear it everywhere.. . I must have left it soemwhere in the Munich building on Monday morning.. and haven’t seen it sence. I love that code.. and think of my dad every time I wear it. I think soemone muct have take it by mistake. It’s a long blue P coat.. itshas soem of my cards in the pocet.. and a radio tracking beacon in it.. which isnow out of range..
