i am drifting in to friday night.. too exhausted to think.. it makes me think my ancessotrs andmy more observant contemporaries have it right to take friday night.. the sabbath ‘off’ and chill out..
i am actually putting away my work, closing my laptop aand not looking at it until tomorrow and it’s ‘only’ 6:45pm..

Phew… Just sprinted to catch a plane at LGA.. The held the plane long enough for them to take me out tot he plane on a bus by myself.. I love Delta !
Anyway.. Just on my way back from a really good day of work meetings..i was speakign at a clients internal developer conference. And it was a great event .. The set of speakers included a forrester analyst, a navy admiral, me and the most amazing family.. Mindy, shaun, and two of their 6(!) kids.. 16 year old twins Brooklyn and Baiey.. The family has created four of the most followed youtube sites in the known universe with more than a billion visits between them. It all started with mom mindys blogging about hsir styles for her growing family.. For some reason.. It went viral.
They then spun off several related sites..one about milineal moms, and 2 others.. What impressed me about their story is how they told it together.. Tons of energy and lots of love. they described how theyve built the brand..on values, relatability and accessibility.. Their advise was very powerful and clear even to such a seasoned and senior audience..
I don’t know why i found it so inspiring.. But i did..

Big day today.. Gabe is moving to his apartment downtown. like most UVM students, he had to find off campus housing for his Junior year.. He’s doing it now because of his research job at the medical center.
It was kinda wierd watching him pack.. this has always been his house.. it still is I know..

Cool thing happened yesterday.. two weeks ago when we were in dubrovnik, we hid a Samstone in a crack in the wall in the tallest tower on the ancient walls of Dubrovnik Croatia. We hid it because we knew our freind Tim B and his GF Sara would be traveling there in just a week. Tim was one of the producers on the Colony.. his job was to torture us..
Yesterday Tim followed our directions, foudn the stone and used that as an excuse to set up a camera shot.. where he proposed to Sara..
