We had such a great day.. we tried to sleep in.. but the church bells start at 7am.. no one could sleep through that.. We went for a longish run.. then came back and headed into Zurich ..

 

 

first stop was the KunstHoaus of a great exhibit on Dada.. which was small and cool.. but the rest of the museam was totally fabulous. They had a retrospective on Giacometti

 

then the dada stuff  .. i never knew all the politics around it before today

even some crazy performance art in the museum.. these guys kept sinning the same song over and over !..

we spent hours in the museum.. byt he end we were tired and hungry.. and went out in search of fondue.. we just had to have it here !

then we went to hotel adler for cheese fondue..it was great, but  I don’t think i ever need to eat cheese again 🙂 ..

 

then we headed back to the bis.. these kids were doing some sort of performance dressed as a tram.. weird but cute !

we then took the bus back to Rushlikon..

 

 

around 8 we went out with my freindAllesandro and his two kids to a really great italian place !

Another really interesting day in Rushlikon.. Met so many brilliant and passionate people.. and saw so much cool innovation..

 

one of the high points was getting to hang out with my ‘old friend’ Ronald.. I say ‘old friend’ because despite talking about once a month, we’d never seen each other face to face.. I’m glad we finally did @

diane and I spent a really nice evening with ronald talking, eating and playing with his many toys in his very beautiful house over the lake

 

ron cooked us a great meal !

then ron started bringing out toys.. first his helicopter.

it was so cool watching him fly around the house..

 

really nice evening.. now.. gotta sleep

Hello from the beautiful Belvoir hotel in Rushlikon Switzerland. Im here for a really cool conference and partner meetings . Im lying in bed looking out overlake zurich and feeling greatful being here with diane.

  Work today was really fun and interesti g . I learned a fair bit about one of our partners businesss and it really got me thinkmg.

I just got ho,e form a long day.. And am so sleepy.. But i have a 1 am conf call… So i was looking around on the internet for something to read.. I saw at the Google main page that today is the 105th birthday of Clara Rckmore..the consort (whatever that means) of Lev Theremin… The father of the theremin. Clara was a concert trained vilist who traded the viola for the theremin in the early part of the last century… The story is she had a muscle disorder that made it hard for her to perform on viola so she took u her boyfriends new electronic instrument.
