Just landed in Chicago after a 15 hour ride from Hong Kong. Soon after landing i got these very cool pictures from diane .. Turns out that soemthing has been gettign into our gargabe.. and all of the neighbors garbage too. Dine thought it was racoons.. so she weighed the lid of the garbage down.. that didnt work. THen she tried bungeeing on the top.. She foudn the garbage container 15 feet away with the top pulled off bu tthe bungees still on..

 

She mentioned it to our neighbor jeff who used a wildelife camera to take this picture in his yard aroudn midnight last night..

It’s a bit hard to see under the bike,.. but thats a bear.. a pretty big bear !

The trip today  was made much nicer by sitting next to a really nice guy. Steve is from NW Mass and is a software guy. He had a zillion interesting hobbies..which made for fun conversation.  THe funny thing is.. just before we got of the plane.. I showed him the picture of the bear. He whipped out his phone and showed me a picture of a bear he’d taken in HIS yard last week.. How cool is that ?
