arghhhhhh.. after 3 hours on the tarmac, then 6 hours  of waiting around for an air traffic control problem .. we started to reboard our flight.. As soon as we started to move, they called out that the flight was cancelled. .. The airport was a mess !

 

I was able to skip the line.. but all the local hotels were full. teh only place i could find was abput 35 miles west  at a fancy horse riding spa.. I got there about 2AM ,. so i did’t get to check out the amenities of golf, spa, horseriding, fireplace in every room.. i did get 6 hours of sleep for which I’m very greatful

 

i didn’t hacve my bags so I couldn’t run.. but I did manage to take a walk.. it was 90 degrees.. so a short walk called for another shower. 

 

I left for the airport around 1.. and and have been here since about 2. My flight tonight is already two and a half hours late.. it’s a special flight needed to get the flight over there.. there are only a few of us on it.. should be a real party. 

now I’m in the airport lounge looking at my travel companions..  

 

ok. 

i only have 2 hours until boarding.. i need to get ready 🙂
