Thursday night – endless peak

This has been the most amazing fall. I’m back in the US for a couple of days .. and I’m so glad. Normally our fall foliage ‘peaks’ during a 5 day period at the end of September early October.. for some reason this year its very different.. maybe its the unusually warm weather.. or lack of rain. but it’s October 19th and we still have a ton of green leaves.. Whats more is that the leaves that are there keep changing . what started out as a bunch of dull reds and oranges is still bursting out with pockets of crazy color !. I took a break around 3 to go for a run up Libby’s Lookout with Diane and the dogs.. it was actually warm enough for shorts and t shirts.. again.. kinda crazy for now..
