Nice , and needed slow day. Spent most of it wrestling with my welder which insisted on kinking my wire feed. Pretty frustrating but I was able to finish welding up the new baffle for the wood-stove.. Good thing because we’re expecting cold weather this week, I showed some before pics yesterday,, but here’s the project.. pretty simple.
here are some before shots. Fire is rough on metal. this a 1/4″ mild stell angle iron..

and here are the old baffles. Each 1/4″ think stell.. thats pretty amazing that the stove gets that hot !

and the new baffles ready to weld. these stiched together things just need to last the week. I’m buying some 1/2″ plate to replace them when I get back
