Really good day at work today with the first day of the Genius of things which marks the opening of our Munich IoT center. I met so many cool people and got to see so much cool tech working. I think things went very well . Still lots to digest from the day. So proud of our team here and what we have built ! I’m great full to so many folks who have helped us get to where we are !
One surprise today : I was running to get to a meeting and slammed into a glass door which does not exist on my floor I hit it at full speed and almost knocked myself out

Crazy busy day here in Munich. We could excited about the opening of our new center over the next three days. We spent the day in final prep… Demonstrating to friends. It’s hectic but really fun. It was a strange way to spend Valentine’s Day… But I was able to get home before too late. Diane and I went and tried to order food in the hotel restaurant… But there was a football match place was packed. Instead we came back and we made our own salad… Complete with Pringles from the minbar as part of the dressing. Very delicious.
Good mix of playing work today. Markus, Stefanie, Travis, Dianne and I met at 9 AM at the central train station. Miraculously we all found each other. We got on the S8 on the way to hershing, which is the starting point for the walk to the Andach monastery.
It was a great cloudy day… Not snowy like the last time I went out there with Marcus. But it was beautiful hike. By the time we got to the top we were tired hungry and thirsty. Perfect thing to do up there just to sample the great beer cheese… And for some of are carnivores… Big chunk of roasted something (knuckle ?) that is their specialty.
I didn’t get over to work until about 3 PM… Many of the team in there all day. We were still able to get in a full days work. I’ll because of the right collection of junk food.
Got the laser cutter up and running… The worlds best tool. And John C who is the worlds best operator in my mind !
