Just lying down in bed at 2:40 in the morning… I had to after work meetings both the went long… Both were good set of friends. Now hoping for a half nightssleep. Not much else to report…

In don in boston on my way back to munich. Its fun to hang out near MiT .. its been 37 years since I lived hre.. but it feels so familiar..
it is ironic that ill be spending more time here just after my mom moved away,, but shes near my sister now which feels good…

Sitting in a hotel room in Kendel Square in Cambridge Mass. Diane is on the other end of the phone and we somehow managed to synchronize our two Netflix sessions so we can watch MadMen together.. We’re on season 7.. the final season..and close to the end. We can’t stop watching it.
I love the show because it brings to life the life my dad lived as an advertising guy on Madison Avenue in the 60’s.. There are so many things I remember from being a little kid. . . my dad riding the train into the city every day, going with my mom to pick up at the train in Dobbs ferry. the stories I heard much later about the people and the politics from him ..
I love watching this show. . Tee writing is so amazing.. I love how they capturesthe 60’s. the business , the city, the politics, . they even feature IBM hardware !
