Babr was there with her Daughter and two of her grand children.. none of whom’s names I can spell. (makeeda, arcana)  but are good old friends.

Saturday night – Condiments !

Beutiful quite day at home. Lots of small , important things accomplished. DIane found her sun glasses, I caught up on email, we took a good hike in the woods.. and we cleaned out our refrigerators. Our ‘backup’ fridge burned out.. leaving us with the daunting task of moving everything into one.. We we re forced to clean out both fridges.. .. and you know what we found.. most of everything in there was condiments.. . We had SO many types of hot sauces, relishes, marinades, seasonings, dips and dressings that there was no room for food !

it was a great lesson in letting go.. as poured out the last 1/4 inch of 20 jars of random hot suaces.. some made befre the advent of electricity.. I thanked each and reflected on where I’d gotten the bootle, who’d given it to me.. and what we’d eaten it on. It was emotionally cathartic..

I will say this.. if any animal  gets into our garbage tonight. they are goign to seriously regret it 🙂

Speakign of hotsauces.. we met our friends  Jim and Sue at Aquave in WIlliston.. t was so good hanging out with them. Their son.. and our really close friend Dylan died 7 years ago tonight. He was a very close frind of Sam and Gabes../ He is still very much part of our lives

We spent the dinner talking about all of our kids.. it was really good

speaking of kids.. our good friend Luke was running the bar there tonight. good seeing him as well

one last cool thing. We woke this morning around 5 with a dog with a digestive problem (don’t ask) .

I walked out side and was treated to a beutiful site of the moon with mars and saturn nearby..  the picutere here doesn’t capture the magic of it..   Our heavens are pretty magical places
