I was working with a good friend of mine today. He’s from Uruguay.. after 2 hours at a task, I got impatient and tried to hurry things up.. He said..
“Visteme despacio que tengo prisa !” (Dress me slowly, I’m in a hurry).. he told me it was from Miguel Cervantes.. the author of Don Quixote.. I looked it up.. some say Cervantes, some say Napolean said it.. otheres say it might be one of 2 kings of Spain.. In any case. it’s a funny saying..
It means it always makes sense to take the time to prepare.. .. It’s a bit like the enlgish ‘Haste makes waste”..
I got his point.. and we finsihed slowly and carefully..
Just like mother nature and the beutiful Trillum’s we saw on our run this morning !
nite all, nite sam
