Shana Tova everyone. Today is Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.. A time when you think about the the year that’s just past, and make plans, goals and commitments fo the year thats coming. I spent the day quietly here at home with the dogs. I didn’t feel like going to temple.. but did spend most the the day thinking. I was thinking about how grateful I am for the love I have around us, our families and , the beautiful place we live.
I ate soem apples and honey as part of my wish for a sweet new year
I’m trying to think about what I might do differently in this coming year.. I’m hoping to goof off more and worry less. How’s that for a resolution..
It’s traditional to recite the praye Alvenu Malkeinu..
We have sinned before Thee
Have compassion upon us and upon our children
Help us bring an end to pestilence, war, and famine
Cause all hate and oppression to vanish from the earth
Inscribe us for blessing in the Book Of Life
Let the new year be a good year for us
Avinu malkeinu chatanu l’faneycha
