Spent the day catching up from the pre-hackathon sprint.. I did find one vid I took this weekend that defined the whole event for me. Its of a young friend from yale ..hey boola boola !

Just home from a crazy fun hackathon weekend at MIT . There were 1200 students at the HackMIT event and I actually think I spoke with most friends f them at least be point or other.

I’m so grateful for the help of the folks who flew in from all parts of the world to help our team . Angie,, Omkar , jim, Tom , Javier, Jodie , Oliver and all the volunteers from our team German , Katherine , Ahmed, Ganti , David , mark. David m and all the folks whose names I’m forgetting

And huge thanks to the organizers of HackMIT .. Michael , Amanda and all of those brave undergrads who took this on

19 hour day so far… we’ve had a blast at hack MIT… More than 1000 Packers from MIT and other schools all around the world I’ve been here creating all sorts of cool stuff. It has been so wonderful hanging out with them and seeing where their creativity is taking them. I feel very grateful that so many of them have come to us for help. I have a zillion pictures… But I really need to get a couple hours asleep so I’ll post them tomorrow. I will include this one picture I took as I was heading out to my car a few minutes ago

Tomorrow is the big HackMIT event.. i’ve been working  with a   great team of people to get ready for this.. and we’re as ready as we’re gonna be 

today was a blur of meetings and sifting boxes of  swag around.. I did get to take a short break to go visit a friend of my friend David’s giant drone start up.. it was amazing .. I couldn’t take pictures..but I did get a chance to look at some of the battle bots they’ve made.. in fact some of their competitions are supposedly on tonight on discovery 

later on I wet to a party at my freinds david an d pams.. they’re house parent in the edgerton dorm.. .

my friends Jim and Oliver walked me back to the site of my old  dorm.. this spot would have been my bedroom.. it’s weird not having it here. 

ok. hackmit starts early tomorrow.. so I gotta sleep
