Greetings from Concord mass… I’m down here tonight for an morning meeting tomorrow In Cambridge. I’m staying at my friends Renee, Dave Halle and Cibu. They have a wonderful place here in Concord… So great hanging out with them.
We found a really crazy coincidence… Renee was watching a video I had posted yesterday in honor of my brothers birthday… Dave was in the next room and recognized Billy’s voice. It’s turns out that Dave worked with Billy in the very early days of his cardiac stabilizer stuff sometime in the mid 90s here in Boston… it really is a small world
Not much else to report today… Interesting High Point was that we kicked off the Vermont task force on artificial intelligence today in Montpelier . I Was asked to serve on this panel that is looking at the pros and cons of promoting Ayite and Vermont… Such an interesting question even to consider… I’m really looking forward to those conversations
very little labor in this labor day.. We did finsh hangign the new storm door..
aroudn 2 we got the idea to drive up the river and tube back to our place.. it was a perfect day for it.. it was 90 degrees here !
we pulled off at the long trail parking area and grabbed our innertubes
the water was cold.. but nice.. we put I ust by the long trail foot bridge
it was abotu a 2 hour float back to the house.
o put a smastone on a big rock we’ve soemtimes eaten on .
at one point diane and I saw a culvert e’d never explored.. we paddled over there and got out.. there as soem old train track s.. perhaps from the big wreck that was near here..
the culvert dates from 1926.. the year before the flood.. amazing it survived that
there were 4 culverts lined up.. one for the railroad, 2 for the interstate asn one for route 2.. we decided to walk them .
giant spiders guarded the entrance
\\
the scenery,. light and sound in the culverts was amazing.. check out the videos below
Mom is 85 and is one of the sharpest and most active people I know . . She taught me how to think.. what to beleive.. what to eat.. How many 85 year old grandmothers do you know that go white water rafting ?
