Monday night – sector mash

DIane and I are just back from the Burlignton Sector Msh.. it was a meetup of meetups at Generator tonight. a bunch of tech and art groups all came together to show their stories and connections.. it was SO fun

Jen showed our piece.. which is a free floating star with a positional sensor.. when you rotate the star.. a projected image on the wall rotates.. It’s pretty hypnotic.

there was a great crowd  there were folsk there from so many differnt threads of my life

even our neighbor Francis was there

one thing I did notice is that my freind paul is talkign next week. You gotta check that out !   He’s speakign thorugh a puppet !

ok.. time for bed.. more tomorrow

Saturday night – Chai at 15 !

Our big baby girl Chai turned 15 today !  I’mn very prud to be her doggie dad.. She is the best dog girl and one of the best friends I’ve ever had.. . I’d say she’s  doing great  for a 105 year old (in dog years.). She went for a 7 mile walk with us  today and a 6 mile walk yesterday..   She is such a sweet, sweet presence in out life. We love you chai-baby !

we made her a little birthday dinner

then took her. satori karen and jeff (who were all off leash) .. on a walk up the little river history trail .

satori was wondering why there was ll the fuss being made about her sister.. we made sure she had a good day too ,

colors were just past peak..

fungus !

so great hanging out with Jeff and Karen.

we took them to the old steam saw up in the woods.

I checked and there was still a samston in the geocache

looking down the old well.. I think you can see a samstone or two down there,.

as we left the park we were invited to go tour the control house for the waterbury dam.. it’s just turning 80 years old.

it’s sucha  cool art deco building.. built to stop the floods that used to threaten to destroy our house.

then out to indian food in burlignton for old tiems sake.. Jeff, karen, diane and I ate a whole lotta indian food when we all lived in england !

Saturday night - Chai at 15 !

ok.. time for sleep now.. we’re all pleasantly worn out

Friday night – before the frost

Busy day, then a nice relaxing evening with Jeff and Karen. One job tonight was to bring in any of the plants we needed to save… We brought in the last tomatoes, the last of the basil, and brought in some of the passion flowers and other sensitive things like geraniums. There may be a frost tonight… They’re saying even snow. Hard to believe that last week it was 80

As much as I love this time of year it’s hard to see the flowers go

Nite all, nite Sam
