nice slow day workign around the house. I did several eelctronic projects. cut the grass and got new hinges for the door, DIane finished up repainting the yoga studio and panted the door..

 

We got two dog walks in.. the first one, my freinds bradly and justin drove by.. and decied to join us n our walk.. that was fun.

one treat today was to look at the old photos Diane had printed  from the un-devloped  role that we found un the ‘time capsule/; room  

Thursday night (delayed) – Time capsule !

thsi role of black and white fil had been in there undeveloped  for at least 42 years, through heat, and cold.. diane foudna   place through walmart that would process the old film 

the film was a little worse for ware.. but the images are from bread and puppet chircus in Glover.. We always used to take the kids to the pagents most eyars.. .. check out these images !

 

so amaing to be able to look bck in tie at these pictures that no one else has been able to see !

 

mid afternoon diane , the girls and I took a wak to the lower gorge.. it was hot.. so goign in the wter felt so good.. 

 

the little fish were tryign to give me a pedicure . 

 

 

as we got home, our old freind Judy B came by to see the time capsule. SHe’d actuelly made soem of the pottery in there..

around 8 we went to chrias and kims for a tiny burn..

 

tonight woudl be the man burn at burning man.. 

 

we were all missing it a little.. so getting around flames was a very good thing 

 

I brought mny reubens tube.

Happy anniversary to us !. Diane and I were married 32 years ago here in Richnond VT. I love that girl SO much.. its nice having soemone you both love an like so well…   

.. nice to be here to celibrate with her..   I was at Burning man last year with max and gabe.. Here’s what we did to celibrate our anniversary then.. we did a show on the playa cam !

 

today we celebrated by hiking Mansfield.. it was such a beautiful day. we went up the very steep and wet Laura Cowles trail.. and down the long and easy sunset ridge. 

 

as we started, we met this nice couple from Quebec who had celebrated their 32nd the day before.. We saw them at the top too !

Began the day in cambridge.. took an early T out to alewife and a bus to Kim and Kathy’s where I’d stashed my car. .. took advantage of the quiet morning to take a short walk in the woods down an abandoned town road.. How New England is this ?!

 

Drive back to Vermont was 100% full of phoen meetings. By 6PM i’d had enough work fo rthe week.. 

 

6:00 headed downtown for a hang out with some good friends.. ryan, jarrod, elliot and paul.. We went to Honey road which is definitely my new favorite restaurant downtown.. Super fun night with some very fun, interesting and pleasantly neurotic company.. m(yself included of course.) 

 

Ryan then lead us on a forced march around downtown.. or maybe paul was leading.. or was it me..

one stop was Bar 162.. I’d never been there.. it was cool and spooky-ish.. as I was leaving

someone shouted out my name.. it was Colin !.. (who lives in Hopuston and works for my brother !).. He’d been up here 3 weeks ago.. but was up for a friends funeral..  Kinda wierd small world to run in to him like this.. 

He fell in with us as we walked around soem more. 

 

I did run in to this drunk octopus  looking for a fight !

got home tired and happy.. to late to blog..s o doing it this morning.. Our 32nd anniversary !.. More on that later !

Just when I didn’t think i’d have anything to write about.. my son max came through with soem good stuff. He sent me the pictures from our family rafting trip in Montana a couple of weeks back

even though it was 97 degrees here in Cambridge, seeing these pictures really cools me off.. what about you ?
