SO nice to be home again. got hoem early and floated in the pool with DIane.. there we hatched our master plan for dinner. Zucchini patties !> You only ned to make them once a year.. but they are so good. they’re like the antipodal latke..
another fine way to turn our garden harvest into high fat, yummy food..

Greetings from Apartment 4 in the heart of chinatown. I’m trying an airbnb I may use while down in the city. It’s not bad.. but not close enough to work I think
I had an interesting day.. lots of new things ot process. I did manage to eat both breakfast and lunch on the same bench in Kendal square. I met my good friend Rene for Breakfast there.. It was great catching up with her.. about family, IBM friends, politics, careers, etc. ..
this square is kinda cool too
then at lunch time I found myself on that same bench eating a salad from Chipotle. I guess this is my park bench now !
later this evening I met my friends Milan and Henry for dinner
we talked about their cool new AI project. I think they’re on to something very cool !
,. it’s nice to have them in the area too. Henry is one of my only links back to college I have in the north east

started the day with a foggy run on the river
Had a really good day at MIT today.. Went and saw some very interesting people at the Media Lab.. I used ot work there when it was called the Architecture Machine group back in 1979 ! I talked to Areal E abotu the new program they have for designing for Space.. so amazing !
Also got to see lots of cool art pieces like these addressable pinboards

later this evening saw my old friend Lars at Artists Asylem where he now works. Hadn’t been to AA in a couple of years.. lots of amazing peopl elots of amazing projects
got lost on the way back to the hotel and had to climb up a spooky highway escape ramp to get back on the road I needed..

Good day down in Cambridge.. I tried a different commute today. I left home at 5:30 am and drove to Lebanon NH.. where I caught the Dartmouth coach. That allowed me to work all the way down to south station.. and I don’t need to mess around with parking here in the city.. This might be the easiest way..
I met soem great new people at work today.. they all just came back from a week workign in greece.. !

AFter work I wlakd about a mile to my really blah holiday inn on the Somerville line. I gotta figure out a better hotel situation down here.. I decided to take a run.. and find something for dinner.. it turned out to be a really nice adventure in a part of Cambridge I don’t know that well.

an outside running and exercise group./ I joined for a short while
and a movie in the park…. where I ate my dinner (great hummas wrp)
it was the lion king !> I had to wat unitil simba gets held up by the ape .
