another great day in Portland.. I really like this place. I worked through about half the day.., then I ran out of meetings 🙂 .. 

Gabe lead us to a few more apartments to check out. I’m so impressed on ho whe’s organized his search.. there are qute a few nice places to lice out here. 

 

around 9:30 we headed up to OHSU for a meeting .. it was great walking around  the place.. it’s amazing.. way up above the city .. a cool mix of new and old.

we were up there again at 3.. Diane and I took a hike while gabe was at a meeting. we discovered a trail into the woods.. it was incredible

then down the tram again !

then we went down to see Kate and Rich again.. and dragged them and our mutual freind David out to Caropia.. a food truck place right near where we’re staying

Long, fun day here in Portland. My day began at 5:30 with some calls for work.. I managed to get lots of my work in by midday due to the time  zones.. 

 

Diane and I went on a short run durign one of my conference calls.. it was fun looign at the neighborhoods, chackign out the bumber stickers.   and the flowers 

 

 

this afternoon gabe lead us aroudn the city lookign at potential apartments.. he found a few he really liked !

 

it was fun seeing so much o fthis part of the city !

 

at 6 we met our old vermont firends Kat and Rick for dinner.. and 20 Questions about portland. It was really great catching up wiht those guys.. and they were so hepful with a zillion facts abotu gabes new adopted home. 

 

we took another longish walk to get ice crea.. then walked back throught he dark .

hello from 36000 feet. I just realize ive been off airplanes for neary .. what ? 2 months !

Diane , gabe and I are about to land in portland for a little scouting.. and a little vacation. Max and becky and raya join us next monday.

ive been to portland a few times..but never rally looked around.. im eager to check it out..

If anybody has some most see/must do ideas for portland or any other part of north west oregon, please let us know !

We all spent parts of  the day working and the evening organizing for our trip to Oregon.. I call it ‘oregonizing’ 

this morning took Satori to the vet to get her teeth scaled and cleaned.. she’s 10 and has trouble wiht her teeth. she needs to be 

under anesthesia to get them clean.. I felt so bad for her.. but she didn’t seem worried when I dropped her off.

another pre travel ritual, Gabe and I had to transfer the Sake we’re makign to the secondary fermenter. 

 

after work I had a board meeting with generator. We’re ending the fiscal year in great shape.. 

membership growing, moeny in the bank, excellent staff..  more classes than ever..
