I’m now at a point that a day in Vermont feels like a vacation. I had a crazy busy day… With lots of variations.
The dogs woke me up very early… Which was a good thing because I came downstairs and saw our friend Brad in our driveway looking distressed. He told me that his dog Ozzie had slipped her leash and was out on the loose . I spent about 40 minutes driving around town trying to look for that dog… I was worried about our sleep but it was fun cruising around on a Friday morning in my own hometown
All’s well that ends well… Brad found Ozzie wondering around any nearby woods.
I went back and took our doggies for a walk. The river is near flood stage and chai liked that
You can tell it’s getting close to spring… We actually had a few flowers starting to sprout up
I came home and opened a wonderful gift from Elliotts mom… She’s a Weaver and made this really cool table runner
I was able to sneak in to an open spot at our dentist… I actually hadn’t been there for three years. I don’t know why… I think it was because I was in Germany all that time. It all worked out fine… My teeth are in good shape
In the afternoon I had meetings with two sets of students from recent pack of thoughts. It was so great to reconnect with these women. They’re so bright and motivated… We’re going to be doing some projects together
I ended the day with two meetings at generator… We’re trying to put together a big project on first robotics. I think this is going to be so great for the state
Finally… We had a really nice dinner with Eliot’s mom her old friend Linda her boyfriend Bob and daughter Carina and her mom… We quickly realized that Linda and Bob were buying her friend Tim and Jen’s Lakehouse. It is truly a small world
OK… Time for sleep. More tomorrow
Nite all, nite sam
