Monday night – multiple terrain

In the past 36 hours we been through so many different types of landscapes and terrain’s. From Phoenix is concrete jungle to Sedona’s crazy hippie sand stone to Cove Springs OK in Locust Groveled … And then Flagstaff Pine Forest.… Your dry and cool lava beds of Sunset mountain,In the windswept hill of Paul Observatory… And then the desert plains Of the meteor crater… Till where we are now which is Lake Layman… a leafy oasis in the middle of a desert.

I took too many pictures today… I think I’m going to put them all here without comment and then curate them later (I hope)

Here’s early morning breakfast at Cave springs campground

Then a quick hike around sunset mountain and it’s lava flows

We then went back into Flagstaff and checked out the Paul observatory… The place where the then planet Pluto was discovered

Here’s their 24 inch refractor… This is one of the places where the Expanding universe theory was first considered

Lowell observatory was a great place to See peoples passion for communicating about science. They did a great job telling the story about the discovery of Pluto

From there we had a great Mexican lunch… And then went to discover space ourselves at meteor crater…

And then another blast of the past where we went to that petrified Forest. Great chunks of petrified wood and fossils

And finally our campground at Lyman lake . We got here just about sunset

Beautiful day

Nite all, nite Sam
